Aboriginal Consultation Office
The Aboriginal Consulting Office (ACO) manages the legally mandated consultation process on behalf of the Crown with First Nations and Metis communities. The consultation process is established, but the technology and experience leave much to be desired. As part of the Yellow Pencil team, I helped them to create a platform to reduce overall application processing time.
The project followed 3 phases: understand, create, and iterate. On the understanding phase, we conducted discovery sessions, user interviews, generated user flows and journey maps.
I was de design lead on the project participating on all the research stages. On the right side an image of the Journey map and bellow a picture of one the discovery sessions.
Based on the collected data I created a prototype for each flow and user to be tested. Tool: Sketch.
